De Montfort University Leicester (DMU) is the only UK university to be chosen as a hub for the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. It is in the top 10 UK universities for student and graduate start-ups and home to the East Midlands’ first Barclays Eagle Lab to support high growth businesses. It has been shortlisted as Entrepreneurial University of the Year in the 2022 Times Higher Education Awards, which recognise the best work happening in UK universities today.
